Now in its third iteration, the Grierson DocLab In Focus: Production Management training programme, run in partnership with Netflix, aims to plug the production management skills gap in the documentary industry. By bringing in new talent from other sectors, the initiative is designed to help people with transferable skills pivot into the world of factual production.

The programme will commence later this month and will bring together eight trainees for intensive training, an industry mentorship and a paid work placement on a Netflix documentary production.

With varied professional backgrounds including psychology, project management and theatre production, this group bring a diverse range of experiences and skillsets to the programme.
