I was on the archive team for both of these and gained new skills such as logging and transcription. I found that everyone at Dorothy St was so friendly and supportive. I really enjoyed the office environment, particularly because of the office events and celebrations, such as the Breakfast Club, which involved a lovely breakfast with the whole company before work and a discussion of our recommendations for the month, e.g. books, documentaries, television shows and films.

This was my first experience working and living in London, and it was so nice to be there for a month and to be able to meet up with people from my cohort socially. There is no doubt that working at Dorothy St Pictures and the other placements that I have had due to Grierson has allowed me to now start my first permanent role as a digital reporter in Manchester!
