Tanya Charteris-Black has just joined The Grierson Trust as the Training Programmes Coordinator. She also works as the Programme & Audience Development Assistant for Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle upon Tyne. Prior to this, Tanya worked on the programme and marketing teams for various film festivals and was a FEDS Trainee for the Independent Cinema Office.

She also makes her own documentaries and has a particular interest in cinema that champions the underrepresented, disrupts the status quo and sparks conversation.
